The fifteenth Chengdu Furniture Fair welcomed 170,000 professional buyers

The 15th Chengdu International Furniture Fair, organized by the Chengdu Municipal Government, officially kicked off on July 3rd at the New Century International Convention and Exhibition Center, running through July 15th. As one of the largest furniture industry events in China, this year's fair marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its 15th anniversary. For the first time, the event was divided into two distinct phases: the Shenzhen Furniture Exhibition from July 3rd to 6th, and the Production Equipment and Raw Materials Exhibition from July 12th to 15th.
This year’s fair saw a remarkable expansion, with the total exhibition area surpassing 170,000 square meters—a 30% increase compared to the previous edition. The number of booths exceeded 10,000 for the first time, up by 29%, and the number of exhibitors reached over 1,100, marking a 33% rise. Notably, the production equipment and raw materials section alone covered 50,000 square meters, reflecting a 150% growth from the last session.
On the opening day, more than 80,000 professional buyers from across the country flocked to the venue, with an estimated total of 170,000 professionals expected throughout the event. This strong turnout highlights the growing influence of the Chengdu Furniture Fair as a key platform for industry networking and business opportunities.
In addition to the exhibition, the second China Furniture Industry Development Chengdu International Forum took place at the New Century Exhibition Center. During the forum, the "China Furniture Industry Development Report" was officially released, offering valuable insights into market trends and future directions.
Another highlight of this year’s event was the collaboration between Longqiao Home Expo City and the Chengdu Furniture Industry Park. This strategic partnership integrated regional resources, creating a new model for regional marketing and enhancing the visibility of local furniture brands. The integration of these key players marks a step forward in building a more cohesive and competitive furniture industry ecosystem in the region.
