Introduction: In today's market, the gift industry is increasingly shaped by the trend of personalization, with customized printing becoming a major highlight. As a result, digital printing machines have emerged as the key players in this transformation. These machines are versatile, capable of printing on various materials such as glass, PVC, and wood, which has earned them the nickname "printer."
The domestic gift market is currently experiencing significant growth, driven largely by the demand for unique and personalized items. More people are choosing to print their own photos, favorite images, or meaningful texts onto gifts, allowing them to express individuality and add more value to their presents. In this context, digital printing machines have become essential tools for both businesses and consumers.
Printing machines come in several types, including thermal transfer printers, digital inkjet printers, flat screen printers, rotary screen printers, and others. Digital inkjet printers, in particular, are high-tech devices that operate without direct contact with the material being printed. Many domestic manufacturers modify inkjet printers from brands like Epson and HP to suit different applications. Color inkjet printers are popular in the mid-to-low-end market due to their excellent print quality and affordability. They also offer greater flexibility in handling different types of media, from standard paper and envelopes to specialty materials like CDs, T-shirts, and photo paper. This versatility allows them to be adapted for printing on unconventional surfaces like glass, PVC, and wood, hence the term "printer."
The working principle of digital printing is similar to that of an inkjet printer. A design is first input into a computer in digital format, then processed through a color separation system (CAD), and finally controlled by the machine. The inkjet nozzles spray a special dye solution directly onto the fabric, creating the desired pattern. After that, different post-processing steps are applied depending on the fabric type, such as drying and fixing. One major advantage of this method is that it doesn’t require water, making it environmentally friendly.
Moreover, as technology continues to advance, printing equipment is becoming more sophisticated and user-friendly. However, even the most advanced machines still rely heavily on human operation and maintenance. If the operator lacks the necessary skills, they may not be able to properly adjust or maintain the machine, which can directly affect the quality of the final product and the lifespan of the equipment. Therefore, having skilled personnel is crucial for achieving optimal results.
