American life embodies a mix of nostalgia, romance, and a laid-back, natural lifestyle. This has made the American home style increasingly popular in recent years, as it offers a return to simplicity, comfort, and relaxation. The style beautifully balances classic elements with modern ease. On the afternoon of September 5th, 2014, "The Art of Life in the Beginning of the Autumn" high-end design salon was held at the Harbor House Beijing Huamao Store. Hosted by Harbor House and Pacific Home Designer, this event aimed to introduce and share the charming, free-spirited American style with a broader audience.
The event kicked off at 2:30 PM. The first speakers were two designers from Pacific Home, who shared their favorite Harbor House products and how they would incorporate them into their own designs. Guests were impressed by the brand’s use of natural materials, clean lines, intricate details, and subtle imperfections that give each piece a warm, inviting feel.
A second image showed one of the featured displays, highlighting the aesthetic appeal of Harbor House’s furniture and decor. Later, Lin Hu, a soft furnishings designer from Harbor House, presented a real-life home design case to the guests. From the thoughtful placement of large furniture like sofas, dining tables, and beds, to the carefully chosen accessories such as carpets, cushions, wall art, and lighting, every detail created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
During the interactive session, guests engaged in discussions about two key topics: “2014 Home Improvement Design Trends†and “How to Appreciate American Style Interior Design.†Everyone shared their thoughts and perspectives. Most agreed that as home design continues to evolve, future living spaces will become more personalized and livable, allowing city dwellers to enjoy a more relaxed and comfortable lifestyle. It was clear that the American style not only brings beauty but also a sense of peace and authenticity to everyday living.
