Tibet Mountaineering Association

The Mountaineering Association of Tibet Autonomous Region was established in 1981 and approved by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region Party Committee and the People's Government of the People's Republic of China. It is a mass organization with legal personality. It has the functions of managing mountaineering business and the right to operate mountaineering business. According to the relevant spirit of the country and the autonomous region and the Regulations of the Tibet Autonomous Region on the Management of Tibetan Climbing by Foreigners promulgated by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress in 1994, the Tibet Mountaineering Association is authorized to manage mountaineering activities and mountain peaks in Tibet. Its duties are: Alliance team; accepts and approves applications to Tibet for mountaineering, and collects relevant fees according to law; signs agreements with mountaineering teams and individuals; arranges mountaineering team's mountaineering plan and transportation, accommodation and other matters during mountaineering; And construction; exercise the functions of managing mountaineering activities and mountain opening work according to law; and guide the development of mountaineering activities in the area.

All groups and individuals who need to come to Tibet for mountaineering should submit applications directly to the Tibet Autonomous Regional Association for Associations in the form of fax, telex, or letters. The application should include the peaks, routes, elevations, and climbing times. As for the number of people and the service items to be provided, the Association will confirm and sign the protocol for hiking within 60 days according to the application, issue mountaineering permits, and make budgets. The mountaineering team will register the mountaineering registration fee and all budget expenses 30 days before entering Tibet. Imported into the association account.

The Tibetan mountaineering team has the most powerful mountaineering athletes in China. Fourteen 8,000-meter peaks have climbed more than half. The Tibet Dengxie has received foreign teams for many years and is very familiar with the conditions of the northern slopes of the Himalayas.
