The contest was organized by the Ningbo Municipal Government and managed by the Municipal Economic and Information Commission. Following a three-step process of "creating design achievements, connecting with the manufacturing industry, and industrializing results," the competition featured three distinct awards: the "Best Creative Works Award," the "Best Docking Demonstration Project Award," and the "Best Design Product Award." Among nearly 4,000 entries, the Shanli CC series of camping lights stood out and secured the fourth place in the 2014 "Hefeng Award" for Best Design Product.
